Christelle Vaval is a business law attorney with more than 10 years of experience in the legal field. Since 2011, she has practiced at Cabinet Salès, focusing on contract negotiation, corporate tax law, and labor law. She has also worked on major projects, representing clients across diverse sectors such as renewable energy, banking services, industrial processing, and construction.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) and a Master’s in Business Law from the Université de Montréal. Christelle also earned a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Common Law and Transnational Law from the Université de Sherbrooke. She is currently pursuing an LL.M. at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Business Law, Artificial Intelligence, Intellectual Property, and Technology.

Alongside her legal career, Christelle has been actively involved with the American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti (AmCham Haiti), where she served on the Board of Directors as Vice President and contributed to the work of the Survive, Retain, and Attract Committee. She is also a member of the Quebec and Port-au-Prince Bar Associations and is affiliated with several prestigious international organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), and the International Bar Association.

Recognized for her expertise in business law and intellectual property, Christelle supports entrepreneurs in developing their business ventures. Her career is also marked by her pro bono contributions, including the implementation of dispute resolution mechanisms within the .HT registry and the organizational restructuring of ICANN.

Driven by a renewed commitment to actively contribute to the development of Haiti’s private sector, Christelle is seeking to rejoin the Board of Directors of AmCham Haiti. She aims to leverage her experience and strategic vision to support the Chamber in its upcoming projects and challenges.
